Breaking News: Ryback Defends Brock Breaking The Streak After Undertaker Admits ‘Nobody Wanted It’

In a surprising turn of events, former WWE Superstar Ryback has come out in defense of Brock Lesnar ending The Undertaker’s legendary WrestleMania streak — just days after The Undertaker himself admitted that “nobody wanted it.”

The Deadman, who recently reflected on his iconic career during an interview, candidly stated that almost everyone backstage — including himself — wasn’t in favor of Brock Lesnar being the one to end his 21-0 undefeated streak at WrestleMania 30 in 2014.

However, Ryback has offered a different perspective. Taking to his podcast and social media platforms, “The Big Guy” argued that Lesnar was “the perfect choice” to end the streak.

“People act like Brock didn’t earn that spot,” Ryback said. “He’s a legit fighter, a once-in-a-lifetime athlete, and one of the few believable threats to Taker. If it wasn’t going to be Roman, it had to be Brock.”

Ryback went on to say that while it’s understandable fans and even locker room veterans were emotional about the decision, the outcome elevated Lesnar to a whole new level of dominance.

“It created ‘The Beast,’ the aura, the mystique — that wouldn’t have existed without the streak ending,” Ryback said. “Sometimes the right call isn’t the popular one.”

The conversation around the streak continues to stir debate over a decade later, with many fans still feeling Lesnar’s victory was mishandled or unnecessary. But with both The Undertaker and fellow superstars now speaking openly about it, the moment is being reexamined through a fresh lens.

Whether you agree or not, one thing is certain — the legacy of “The Streak” and its ending remains one of the most talked-about moments in WWE history.
