Roman Reigns RETURNS and BETRAYS Seth Rollins as Brock Lesnar Targets Cody Rhodes!
In one of the most shocking moments of the year, “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns made his long-awaited return to WWE — and did so in truly devastating fashion.
The October 4th edition of WWE SmackDown ended in absolute chaos. With Seth “Freakin” Rollins defending the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event against a surprise opponent hand-picked by management, fans were treated to a high-stakes battle between Rollins and AJ Styles. After a grueling 20-minute contest, Rollins stood tall — exhausted but victorious.
Then, the lights dimmed. A familiar sound hit the arena: *”DAAAA…DAH! *The Shield’s classic theme blared through the speakers, and the crowd erupted. Out walked Roman Reigns — intense, focused, and flanked by no one. It was his first appearance since losing the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at SummerSlam.
Rollins looked stunned but relieved, smiling and holding his title up as if to say, “Welcome back, brother.”
That’s when it happened.
Roman stepped into the ring, stared down Rollins — and speared him out of his boots.
The crowd was stunned into silence, then into fury.
Without saying a word, Roman hoisted the World Title and stared at it — then tossed it onto Seth’s chest and walked away, cold and calculated. The message was clear: Roman is back, and he’s coming for the throne he once ignored.
Meanwhile, on Raw, chaos erupted of its own kind. Cody Rhodes, the Undisputed Champion, had just fended off Damian Priest in a hard-fought title match when BOOM — Brock Lesnar’s music hit.
Lesnar stormed to the ring and laid out Cody with an F-5, shouting “I’m not done with you, boy!” into the camera. This marks Lesnar’s return to WWE after a long absence following his SummerSlam loss. It seems the Beast has unfinished business with the American Nightmare.
With Roman now targeting Rollins and Lesnar gunning for Rhodes, the entire main event picture has been turned upside down. Could we be headed toward a clash of titans at Survivor Series or Crown Jewel?
One thing is certain: the Bloodline’s shadow still looms large, and no champion is safe.
