χAna Stephanie Vaquer González (born March 29, 1993) is a Chilean professional wrestler who has risen to international prominence through her work in Mexico, Japan, and now WWE.
Vaquer began her wrestling journey in Chile, making her in-ring debut in February 2009 when she was just 15 years old. In her early years she wrestled under the ring name Dark Angel and competed in smaller Chilean promotions, gradually building experience and a name for herself. In late 2013, she moved to Mexico and began training under well-known luchadores such as Ricky Marvin, Gran Apache, Villano IV, and Último Guerrero, seeking to strengthen both her technical skill set and her presence in a larger wrestling ecosystem.
Her international breakthroughs included a stint in Japan’s World Wonder Ring Stardom in 2018, where she wrestled several matches. In 2019 she began appearing for Mexico’s Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), becoming the first female South American wrestler to be part of CMLL’s roster. Over time, she secured multiple title reigns there: she and Zeuxis won the CMLL Women’s Tag Team Championship, and later she captured the CMLL World Women’s Championship. At one point, she held both the tag team and singles women’s titles simultaneously — a historic first for a luchadora in CMLL.
In 2023 and into 2024, Vaquer also competed in New Japan Pro‑Wrestling (NJPW), notably winning the Strong Women’s Championship during a tournament hosted by the Stardom promotion. She defended that title successfully a few times before eventually losing it.
Vaquer’s transition to WWE came in July 2024, when the company officially signed her and placed her initially in its NXT division. She made her televised NXT debut later that year, and over the next months she made waves, capturing the NXT Women’s North American Championship and later becoming NXT Women’s Champion, thus becoming the first woman in WWE history to hold both titles at the same time. After this success, she was elevated to WWE’s main roster, debuting on Monday Night Raw in mid‑2025.
Outside the ring, Vaquer has faced significant personal challenges. In 2023, she filed a criminal complaint against a former partner, alleging domestic violence. The case led to legal proceedings, and CMLL publicly condemned violence against women following the incident.
Today, Vaquer is viewed as one of the most promising women’s wrestling stars globally. Her combination of technical skill, charisma, resilience, and trailblazing status — as a South American woman making her mark in major wrestling promotions — sets her apart. Fans and analysts alike watch closely to see which feuds, title runs, and career chapters she will dominate nex
